Not exactly. A slap shifter (aka ratchet shifter) is a single stalk that you slap back and forth, like a B&M pro ratchet.

The lightning rods are a way to “ emulate” a Lenco trans.

Yeah probably. I still shutter when I think of the 3 speed in my wife’s Cavalier. 3 speeds is not enough

Four speed trans. 200-4R.

3 speeds is enough if you need a trans to hold up to a ton of abuse. Just not a light duty one.
